Finding it hard to pick an outfit for summer when everyone will be wearing the same thing, plus it's one of the 'most difficult' styles to dress for?
We firstly need to look at business casual, and what that really is: a style of clothing that is less formal than traditional business wear, but is still intended to give a professional and businesslike impression.
Looking the same as everyone else is extremely boring, so why not spruce things up with an ivory linen suit this summer? This is a two-piece that can be transitional with almost anything, and I would highly recommend having a lighter toned suit in your collection for just that.
It is important to remember that you still have to dress formally, however, it's more of a fun-side of formal. Along with the suit, a light navy pastel shirt or lighter-shade shirt would go really well, and if you wanted to wear a tie, I would go for a navy knit or a dotted tie.
If you were looking to really go all out with the look, throw in a pair of light tan suede loafers with a matching woven belt. And also don't forget that a pair of tortoiseshell shades will bring the heat.
Keeping yourself looking professional and classy is crucial to pull off the summer business casual, but it should always come with a few laughs and good times to kick back with your friends too!
